I am a user experience professional with experience on over 150 projects helping companies improve their User experience through research, design, and and the application of the knowledge that I’ve gained through 5 years of full-time experience in the industry. I have direct experience talking with and observing thousands of Users on behalf of some of the largest and most powerful corporations in the world to start-ups trying to gain a foothold in the market.
I have an extensive interdisciplinary background including degrees and certificates from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) College of Computing, College of Management, and School of Psychology, including a Master of Science in Human Computer Interaction (HCI) specializing in Computing, a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science (graduated with honor on the Cooperative Plan) and certificates in the Management of Technology and Personality & Social Psychology, it is my ability to apply my experience and knowledge to balance user needs and business requirements in real world situations which sets me apart and makes me a valuable member of any company or organization.
With all of that in mind, I’ve been asked what I consider myself to be. I didn’t know how to answer that question for some time, but I do now. Throughout my education and various titles that I’ve held, my position has never changed. I’m a problem solver. If you have a complex problem with numerous moving parts, if you need someone who can think at a high level while considering the underlying implications with great detail, if a hot topic needs a cool head, I’m your man. I encourage you to contact me with your feedback good or bad.
